Dr. Manal Ismail, DDS

Her Approach
Dr. Manal Ismail, DDS will tell you that how a patient feels in the chair matters as much as the dentistry itself. She teaches by nature, so nothing starts until you understand what she found, why she is recommending it, and what your alternatives are.
From the moment I walked into the clinic, I was greeted warmly by the staff. Dr. Manal took the time to explain my issues to me. Her attention to detail and gentle approach made me feel more comfortable and at ease.
Training and Range
She studied microbiology at the University of Michigan, earning her B.S. in 2009, then completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Detroit Mercy in 2012, and has practiced ever since. Her work spans clear aligner therapy and a wide range of cosmetic treatment, including porcelain veneers and crowns.
Implants From Start to Finish
Implants are where that range matters most. Dr. Ismail handles both the surgical placement and the restoration herself, including bone grafting and sinus lift procedures when the jaw needs preparation first. It is common for a practice to send the surgical half of an implant elsewhere and handle only the final crown. Here your treatment stays in this office, from the first scan through the finished result, whether that is a single crown, a bridge, or full mouth reconstruction.
Great work performed on my cleanings, sinus lifts with bone grafting, bridges and even 5 implants. Would highly recommend Dr Manal Ismail and her staff.

I haven't been to a dentist in many years. I had a couple teeth broken at the gums. I was terrified for years. Dr. Manal was so sweet and caring. Basically a pain free visit.
Beyond the Practice
Away from the office she travels whenever she can and sculpts ceramics, though the time she values most is with her family.

Her Approach
Dr. Wakade came to dentistry from engineering, after seven years at firms including Coca Cola and Unilever. She moved so she could put the same attention to detail and creativity into individual patient care. Explaining what she finds and preventing problems before they start matter to her as much as the treatment itself, and she works to make a visit easier for anyone who has been putting one off.
Training and Range
She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Detroit Mercy, the same school Dr. Manal trained at, after a bachelor's degree in packaging engineering from Michigan State University. After dental school she completed further hospital training at Monmouth Medical Center in New Jersey, covering root canal treatment, children's dentistry, and oral surgery. She has practiced general dentistry since 2014, with a particular interest in how a finished result looks.
